Why Does It Have To Be So Hard – Network Marketing Head Banging
Ever had one of those days in your network marketing business where you go, “WTF – What the hell!”. I know that’s not the right acronym but I’m trying to keep it clean. Some days are hard to figure out, when to zig, when to zag. Marketing campaigns that worked, don’t work, or do not work as well as they did before.
That is the life and days of an internet network marketer. :0
Why does it have to be so hard? Feels like your banging your head against a giant wall.
Unfortunately, network marketing isn’t like purchasing a franchise from McDonald’s. (You also aren’t dropping $2 million) You might get some support, a little bit of training, but mostly it’s your business. So the mistakes are wholly yours, as are the rewards. It’s just so cheap to get into network marketing. People don’t treat their business like they’ve spent a small fortune on it.
You should be seeking out those that are successful, and whenever possible listen at their knee for any crumb of knowledge. This industry and those that are super successful don’t just turn over their super traffic sources with any ease. Would you, if the shoe was on the other foot?
This kind of business, is HARD, specifically, to cull the herd. Oops, that sounds harsh, but it’s true. It isn’t for everyone. It’s “survival of the fitness”, and a lot of trial by fire. So you see a lot people jump in and flame out because they cannot figure out of to make it all work. And when they can’t, (like a herd) they MOOve over to another MLM or Network Marketing Business. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. 🙂
Warning: Dirty Little Secret. That’s why there are SO MANY “new opportunities” each year.
Tenacious, has to become your middle name for your business. You can’t bail the first time you break a nail.
You know it doesn’t have to be SO hard to build your networking business. I fell for each new way to attract business…need more traffic, get leads, “become a social guru”, search engine optimization. There seemed to be a “new way” each six months. But I learned how to focus my time and my energies by stepping off the endless treadmill of network marketing that everyone else was doing and developed my own strategies.
Sun Tzu’s quote – “Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat” , explains it for me. You have to plan and implement that plan if you are to achieve any success. To keep on “doing” without a specific means to an end will result in abysmal failure.
